mocktail branding | the dry co. | 2023
This project was a passion project, to pursue any area of design that I wanted to focus on. I chose to create the branding, packaging, and other deliverables for a mocktail company. I chose to work with mocktails, as I have always been interested in designing food packaging, in addition to the importance of sobriety to myself, and to my family.
I began by creating the branding elements: logos, fonts, color palette, and patterns. From there I designed the cans, business cards, and the box to hold the cans.
process
To begin this project, I started researching different fonts I liked for the logo. After I decided on a font, I began brainstorming ideas for the can design. I knew that I wanted it to be bright and vibrant with a fun pattern. I began to create a variety of patterns that I though could be fun on the cans based on the different flavors.
After messing around with the patterns for a while, I thought that it would be fun to combine them. I combined different patterns in multiple ways for each can and thought the final result was very fun. Once I decided on the pattern for each can, I then created the business cards and box.
